The Great Escape: March Rescue Update

paired bunnies

We are thrilled to share that Otis and Wisp are now officially a bonded pair! Before their spay and neuter procedures, these two loved to flop down next to each other in their separate pens. Following their procedures, an experienced volunteer carefully facilitated their gradual introduction, and they now happily share a pen. Check out their adorable photos here: Otis and Wisp’s Photos.

In other exciting news, Ross, Chandler, and Joey were neutered on Friday and are ready for adoption or foster-to-adopt homes. If you’re interested in giving these charming buns a loving home, take a look at Ross’ adoption flyer: Ross’ Adoption Flyer.

February 2025 Recap: Valentine’s Day Success

Our Valentine’s Day photo shoot was a fantastic success, thanks to our dedicated volunteers and photographer Shane Calderon. Several of the Great Escape lionhead bunnies had their photos taken for future adoption opportunities.

We are happy to report that Itsy, Bitsy, and Spyder are now in a foster-to-adopt home, and Mountain View Animal Hospital and Carson Valley Veterinary continue to work through the schedule of spaying and neutering all the buns.

Thank you for your ongoing support in helping these sweet buns find their forever homes!
